Salon Policy

I am fully trained and insured and care about my client’s wellbeing both prior to, during and after the treatment. I therefore ask you to read and follow TERMS AND CONDITIONS below to ensure that you have a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Parking

Please park behind my car which is always parked in the right-hand side of the carport. If there is a car already there, then I am still with my previous client and will not be long. You will have to let that car out. Please do not leave your car in front of the garage.

The Beauty room is situated above the garage which you enter from the right-hand side under the car port next to my car. Please note it is not in the main house.

Appointments

Appointments run back to back, so please arrive on time and free the parking space straight away after treatment. If you are more than 15 minutes late, I cannot guarantee I can complete the treatment. Please bear in mind in due to the nature of the job I can run a few minutes early or late, the appointment times are an approximate guide and can vary. A good guide is if the studio door is shut then I am still with someone, when I’m free I always leave the door open.

Payments

Payments accepted are online, bank transfer, cash and card. I do not accept cheques. Online transfers are to be made before or at the appointment not later in the day or days to come. Please use your full name as the reference for payment, not the treatment as a reference for payment so that I know who has paid.

Cancellation Policy

I value all new and existing clientele and grateful for your business, but I do have a strict 48-hour cancellation/rescheduling policy. Late cancellation will incur 50% charge of the appointment booked. The cost is added to your next appointment. By making your booking you are agreeing to these terms. Thank you for understanding. To prevent missing appointments, you will receive a friendly reminder 48hour prior to your appointment.

Bookings

Bookings are made threw https://carlieryan.gettimely.com/book or https://www.carlieryan.co.uk you can save this to your home screen on your phone as shortcut for easy booking. Alternatively there is a link on my Instagram page @carlieryan_lashandbrowpro. I recommend booking 2-3 appointments at a time to secure being a regular client. My dairy is open for 3 months at a time and opens at 8am on the 1st of every month for the 3rd month to make booking fair.

Checking Your Booked Appointments

When you click your Online Booking button you will be given the option to Login to manage your appointments more easily. If you do not click on the banner, you will progress through Online Booking as normal. Enter your email address and you will instantly be sent a 6-digit code. Entering the code will log you into your client record. Your logged in session does not expire and you will not have to login again unless you decide to log out later. Clients can see all their upcoming appointments as soon as you login.

To Cancel Or Change a Booking

This can be done on the booking system through your client login. Alternatively, all bookings come with a confirmation email which has an option to view or change, which then takes you to a further option to cancel your appointment. I recommend you should always keep your confirmations emails safe. If you change your appointment it will automatically cancel the old booking.

Patch Test

For your own safety, all clients must have a patch test. Please book to visit the studio where I will apply the products. The products must be left on your skin for 48 hours to see if you react, therefor the patch test must be booked no less than 48 hours before your treatment. For eyelash extension I will apply a few subtle extensions to each eye. Please be aware that having a patch test does not guarantee you will not ever have a reaction, although its not very common, hormonal changes, stress and other factors can mean a reaction can develop at any time. In the unlikely event of a reaction, you must seek medical advise from a doctor. Patch tests are valid for a month, If you go over 4 weeks you need re patch testing

Pregnancy / Age

Eu Legislations and manufactures guidelines means you are not suitable to have treatments whilst you are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you are under the age of 18. Please always inform me of pregnancy and/ or if you are taking any medications

Following manufactures guidelines and due to hormonal changes in pregnancy I do not recommend eyelash extensions and lvl during pregnancy or breastfeeding . Hd brows can be done after the third trimester.

Clients must be over the age of 18 for hd brows and over 16 for lvl and eyelashe extensions.

Pre/After/Homecare

The best possible results do not just happen inside my studio. It is very important for you to look after your lashes and brows by following the pre and after advice given on the service page

Children

With regret due to health and safety regulations please consider making other arrangements for you children when you come to your appointment. All treatments require your eyes to be shut and the salon is not a safe place for children with hot wax, chemicals and sharp tools and open stairs. I am unable to carry out your treatment and keep an eye on your child. Thank you for understanding.

Gift Vouchers

The gift of beauty can be purchased through the booking system. Vouchers are valid for one year from the date of purchase. Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. They are to be used by one person in one visit.

Rewards Points

As appreciation for your loyalty you will earn points based on your spends accumulated over your visits. When you have earned enough points, you will be rewarded with money off your next visit. All clients are automatically opted in so no registration is required.
