Eyelash Extension Experience:

I’ll starts your consultation off by accessing your natural lash condition and strength. I discuss the different techniques and design styles and decide what will best suit your eye shape and desired outcome. Once the treatment begins you can relax or even sleep whilst I transform your lashes. Eyelash extensions create natural, flawless eyes and perfect for anyone wanting to add depth and length to their natural lashes. They are bespoke and can be done very naturally or very glamorous. Eyelash extensions come in a range of lengths, curls and weights so customisable looks are tailormade to your eyes. Eyelash extensions are applied with an adhesive to one natural lash.

You can have one false lash applied to one isolated natural lash; this technique is called Classic.

You can also have multiple thinner false lashes applied in narrow and wide fans to one isolated natural lash. These fans are a mixture of premade fans and handmade fans in 3d – 6d you can also layer multiple finer lashes; these techniques are called Russian volume.

You can also mix the two technique in one set. This is my most popular and favourite technique known as Hybrid.

You can choose between these different design styles:

  • Natural eye - most natural enchantment
  • Open eye - longer in the middle of the eye
  • Cat eye - longer at the outer the 3rd of the eye
  • Doll eye - wispy staggered long and short throughout

After Your Treatment:

  • You must not get your lashes wet for 48 hours this includes no exercise, sweating, sauna, steam, long hot showers, or steamy baths. The adhesive is still curing
  • No heat treatments or sunbeds for 24 hourslashes wet for 48 hours, no exercise, sweating, sauna, steam, long hot showers or steamy baths or sunbeds. The adhesive is still curing
  • After 48 hours it’s very important to keep your lashes clean using lash foam cleanser with water every 3 days this helps with hygiene and clearing any dirt, grim, make up, powders or natural oils from the root and off the lashes. It will result in longer lasting lash extensions. If you have oily skin, I recommend using it daily. If you work out a lot, you must use it straight after exercise
  • Gently pat dry after cleaning the lashes or showering
  • Do not rub, pick, or twist your lashes
  • Do not use oil-based products over or around the area it will lift off the lashes
  • Sleep on your back do not sleep on lashes you will rub them out
  • You cannot perm or tint or use lash curlers whilst your extensions are on
  • You must gently comb your lashes each morning with the comb provided to neaten them up
  • You must not use mascara on your extensions it will clog them up and I will not be able to do an infill if they have mascara on
  • Avoid face powders or eyeshadow falling into you lashes
  • Infills are required every 2 - 3weeks depending on how well you care for them the speed of your natural cycle
  • Make sure your lashes are clean for your infill and follow the same pre and after care instructions for your infills
  • Use Lash Cleanser every one to two days.

Please familiarise yourself with the Lash cycle and info below as it may affect your treatment and the results you may expect.

Our natural lashes are constituently shredding just like the hair on your head. You naturally lose 3 - 4 eye lashes a day. There are 3 stages to the 12 week growth cycle of a lash: Anagen, Catagen and Telogen.

Anagen are tiny baby lashes just starting to poke up threw the lash line.

Catagen are mid length lashes, they stay in this phase for a few weeks, this is the perfect stage for lash extensions.

The Telogen stage is when the lash is at full length and ready to shred. The Telogen lash does not last long and can shred at any moment.

If an extension falls and it has a natural lash attached, don’t worry, this is normal. The Telogen lash is replaced with an Anagen lash and so the cycle starts again.

Everyone’s cycle and rate of growth is different. Your natural lash line consists of 3 row of lashes and all your lashes are in different stage of the cycle.

Because of this an infill is required every 2-3 week to keep your lashes full and replenished. You do not need to give your lashes a break as they are naturally constantly shredding. You can continue with infills for as long as you like.

Please be aware we lose more lashes in certain seasons. We naturally shed our lashes in preparation for changes in temperature.

We tend to lose more lashes in spring and autumn, preparing to grow more for summer and winter, this can last around 6 weeks so something to be aware of and ride out. During winter months, humidity tends to be low so lashes can feel brittle causing them to fall out faster than normal.

You can use lash and brow conditioner serum in conjunction with your extension during winter months to combat this. In summer months when we get more vitamin d production, everything gets better including our lashes. However, in summer the heat can cause more sweating and more oil production. Oil lifts lashes and leads to poor retention. It is important to use the lash foam cleanser more frequently at this time.

Retention is also poor if someone exercises, sweats and swims excessively for the same reason. If you have oily skin or sweat a lot because of exercise, I recommend cleansing daily with lash foam cleanser, immediately after exercise to remove oils, plus use the sealant to help with longevity and protect against oils.

This is not a reflection of poor work but something to be aware of. Infill results vary based on all these factors and the lash cycle. I must work with your natural lash length and strength to keep them healthy.

I recommend using Lash Growth Serum alongside your eyelash extensions every night. It will keep them in the growing stage of your cycle for longer and help aid better results.
