Before your treatment it is important to know of any exclusions or requirements. Please follow the pre advise below

Before your treatment:

A Patch test is required 48 hours before the date of the appointment:

  • NO TAN: Ensure there is NO FAKE TAN, GRAUDUAL TAN on your skin as this will affect the overall result of your tint. If you are a regular tanner, please let me know. The tint will react with fake tan and turn a green colour.
  • PRODUCTS: If you are using any Vitamin A or Retin A based skin care please discontinue use at least 10 days prior to your appointment and let me know at the appointment. These products can make your skin extremely sensitive to the wax, resulting in me being unable to perform the waxing service. If you are taking any skin medications, you will not be able to have the waxing service either.
  • If you have undergone any intense facial treatments, Botox, face peels or microdermabrasion etc allow 2 weeks before booking your brow appointment.
  • You must be 16 years or over to have this treatment
  • If you are pregnant you must be past the first trimester
  • Let me know of an allergies or medical conditions

The HD Brows Experience:

HD BROWS is a High definition eyebrow styling treatment. During your visit you will receive waxing, threading, tweezering and trimming to shape your eyebrows and frame your face. Then your brows are slightly or deeply darkened using eyebrow dye. The treatment is finished off with a small amount of make up to highlight the brow and fill in any missing spots. The aim of the treatment is to create a bespoke eyebrow style for you and involves a consultation to discuss your requirements.

I offer both HD Brow tint and Henna Dye options in my studio because everybody’s skin is different. My Clients can try both, with preference to either one or the other to what works and last the longest for them. Please note Henna cannot be done in conjunction with Brow lamination.

NB: - The difference between Henna and tint is that Henna has no ammonia or hydrogen peroxide.

After your appointment:

  • You may need to follow a regrowth programme and use regrowth serum which you can purchase at your appointment. Desired results can take 2 to 20 treatments. Results depend on the amount and type of hair growth. I cannot guarantee results but will use my judgement to best guide you.
  • You will be required to touch up weak or missing gaps with a Brow Pencil.
  • Please be aware that the results will be darker and more defined immediately after treatment and for 48 hours after. This allows longer lasting brows. The makeup applied is not permanent and will wash off.
  • The tint or any unwanted residue will wash off and fade depending on the frequency of cleansing the brow. Tint on skin can only last up to 4 days and on the hair for up to 3 weeks.
  • HD Brows is recommended every 3-4 weeks.
  • Avoid tweezering between treatments this will affect the waxing results, the longevity of treatment, alter the shape and will take longer for the regrowth programme

Although the treatment will be carried out to the highest level, complications can still occur.

Possible side effects are: Allergies and reactions, spots and bumps, skin grazing, soreness, redness, sensitivity to wax.

To minimise these risks please strictly follow the pre and aftercare advise.
